  • Noah Ungemach

    CLINICIAN

    Noah Ungemach, a 2024 graduate of Martin Luther College, serves as a music and religion instructor at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm, Minnesota. In his role, he conducts two curricular choirs and an extracurricular show choir.

    An active vocalist, Noah has sung with Canticum Novum, the WELS Chamber Chorus, during the summers of 2024 and 2025. He has also served as a tenor section leader for the Mankato Symphony Orchestra’s volunteer chorus in performances of Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem.

    As a soloist, Noah performed "Ev’ry Valley" from Handel’s Messiah for Martin Luther College’s 2023 Christmas Concert. His upcoming solo engagements include another performance of Messiah at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Bend, Wisconsin, and MLC’s musical theater concert, "Welcome Home," this January.

    Noah resides in New Ulm with his wife, Becky, and their two sons, Judah and Ellis.

  • Joshua Wendt

    CLINICIAN

    Joshua Wendt is a 2006 graduate of Martin Luther College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He earned his Master’s Degree in Choral Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL in 2015. Currently he is completing coursework towards another Master’s Degree in Choral Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College at Rider University. 


    Josh’s experience in music education is extensive and diverse. He has taught K-8 general music and choir at schools in California and Wisconsin. He enjoys designing and implementing curriculum that is enriching for diverse students. He taught private voice lessons as an adjunct instructor at Manitowoc Lutheran High School for 12 years, where he also independently studied vocal pedagogy extensively before enrolling in a formal degree program. He is now the Fine Arts Department Chair and music professor at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan where he lives with his wife and two children. 


    Josh is a frequent presenter at teachers’ conferences where he enjoys sharing ideas and his passion for music education with other educators. The changing voice and middle school music education are particular points of interest. He is an active member of the National Association for Teachers of Singing.
