“One Sound, One Savior:
Faith from Every Nation”

Rev. 7:9-19  "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.  And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”

  • DAN HUEBERT

    CLINICIAN

Dan Hubert holds both a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. After spending 13 years teaching in K–12 settings, he was called to join the faculty at Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2019. His passion for education—using music as the vehicle—drives his work with future music educators and the students in his ensembles and courses.

Before coming to WLC, Professor Hubert taught middle school choir, general music, and band, and also directed high school concert bands, jazz bands, and musical theater pits. He assisted with nationally competitive high school marching bands and independent winter drumlines, gaining a wide range of experience in both instrumental and vocal music education.

At WLC, he directs the Concert Band, Jazz Band, and various chamber ensembles, and teaches courses in Music Theory, Music Arranging, Advanced Conducting, and Music Education.

Outside the classroom, Dan and his wife, Amy, stay busy raising their four children. They are active members of Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Hubertus, where their faith and family life remain a constant source of joy and purpose.

  • CALEB DOBBERSTEIN

    PERCUSSION CLINICIAN

Caleb Dobberstein currently serves as the 8th-grade homeroom teacher at Bloomington Lutheran School in Bloomington, Minnesota, where he teaches English and Music to students in grades 5–8. He also directs the Bloomington Lutheran School Band, sharing his passion for instrumental music with young musicians.

A 2019 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, Caleb earned his B.S. in Elementary Education and holds a Minnesota Elementary Education License (K–6) through the WELS teacher certification program. Since beginning his teaching ministry, he has remained deeply committed to nurturing students both academically and spiritually.

Outside the classroom, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife—who teaches first grade at BLS—and their two energetic sons. Together, they love fishing, camping, and exploring the outdoors. His life and work are guided by the comforting words of Isaiah 41:10:
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God..."

Caleb is honored to serve as the percussion clinician for the 2026 WELS Band Fest and looks forward to working with the talented student musicians gathered for this special event.
